    Fees, commissions and payouts

These are the exact numbers used everywhere on FanzPro — product pages, checkout, earnings screens and your payout ledger.

    Fan commission

    • Merch (print-on-demand & stocked)10–20%
    • Tickets8–12%
    • Audio / downloads15%
    • Special access & fan club tiers10%
    • Exclusive content15%

Artists set the exact rate per product within these ranges.

    What the fee applies to

    • Card processing (approximately 2.9% + $0.30) is deducted from the order total before splits.
    • Print-on-demand production cost is deducted before artist earnings. Until the provider reports the real cost, an estimate is used and corrected automatically once the true cost is known.
    • Shipping charged to the buyer covers the outbound label. The fulfillment provider's production and shipping charges are deducted in full from the sale before artist earnings are calculated.
    • Embroidered products carry a one-time Printful digitization fee (approximately $2.95 per design). FanzPro absorbs it — it is never deducted from artist earnings and never built into the retail price.
    • Sales tax is collected at checkout and remitted; it is never part of an earnings split.
    • Refunds and chargebacks reverse the full split — platform fee, fan commission and artist share are all clawed back.

    Getting paid

    • Earnings mature 30 days after the sale to cover refunds and chargebacks.
    • Minimum payout is $50.
    • Payouts run through Stripe Connect Express.
    • A W-9 (US) is required before your first payout.

    How tracking works

Affiliate attribution uses the ?ref= URL parameter, stored in your browser's localStorage. FanzPro does not use cookies for affiliate tracking. Attribution lasts 30 days.

    How FanzPro Thinks About Fans

FanzPro's core design belief is that music fans are participants in a shared identity economy — not a generic conversion channel. These principles guide every commission decision, share prompt, and reward mechanic on the platform.

    Community norms
    The No Sell Signal Pledge

Paid sharing, framed as support — not sales

FanzPro pays fans for the creative work of spreading the word. These norms keep that framing intact so a credited link never starts to feel like an ad.

    • Share what you actually love

If you wouldn't post it without a link, don't post it with one. Authenticity is the whole asset.

    • Disclose when you're credited

A quick "I get credited if you use my link" keeps trust intact. Every FanzPro template includes it by default.

    • No sell signal

You're not running a storefront in your DMs. You're supporting an artist and getting paid for the work of spreading the word.

    • Community first, cash second

Status, access, and shared wins come before payout totals — for you and for the fans you invite.

    What we celebrate (loudly)

Payouts are the receipt. These community milestones are the point.

    • First 10 fans through your link. Artist gets a live-notified "co-launch" moment.
    • Show sold out with fan-credited seats. Room gets filled by the people who actually wanted to be there.
    • Drop funded before it ships. Fans co-launched the merch — production risk gone.
    • New fan becomes a repeat listener. The point of the whole thing. Everything else is a side effect.

    Design Manifesto

    The Sound of Community

FanzPro lives at the intersection of music, commerce, and community. Every pixel is built from the artist and fan perspective — not the platform's. If a choice only serves the platform, it doesn't ship.

    1. Community as Architecture

The community is the product. Group before individual. Roles (artist, fan, affiliate, manager) get distinct visual identities — never the same grey card with a different label.

    2. Earning Is Celebrated

Counters tick up. Earnings pulse. Milestones get a moment — never a silent toast. If a fan earns, the platform responds visibly and immediately.

    3. Music-First Aesthetics

Deep blacks, stage gold for earning moments, electric accents for action. Display type with character — never Inter or Poppins. Real artists, never stock photography.

    4. Singular Point of View

Every layout could only belong to FanzPro. No 3-column icon-circle feature grids. No centered-everything. Editorial, asymmetric, specific.

    5. Role-Aware Personalization

Artists see revenue and fan data. Affiliates see link performance. Fans see rewards, shares, and artist activity. Same design system — radically different information hierarchies.

    UX Principles

    • Clarity of earning. A new visitor must grasp how everyone earns within 60 seconds.
    • One primary action per screen. Two equally weighted CTAs is a conversion failure.
    • Archive depth without friction. Search, filter, and discovery are first-class.
    • Progressive disclosure. Show the value before asking for the commitment.

    The Three-Question Test

Before any UI ships, it must answer yes to all three:

    1. Would a musician feel at home here?
    2. Is earning visible?
    3. Could this design only be FanzPro?

The audience is always on — always earning, always participating. Design for that aliveness on every screen, every state, every interaction.
